I’ve just recently learned that I have a vitamin D deficiency. That means I need vitamin D fortified milk. Right now I don’t have the money for that, and living as I do at a homeless shelter at the moment means I have no place to keep it. You can help.
For every $5 you sent I can get a quart of milk. This includes PayPal’s fees. Someday I will have an apartment, so this plea will be a temporary one. But until then let me get some milk.
I have heard some people claim that autism is a wonderful gift, coming as it does with all sorts of neat shit. I say fuck that and the sugarplum fairy it rode in on.
The stress you get from being autistic does not make the bennies worth a damn thing. I have work to do, dammit, and I need a safe place to do it in. Not just the work itself, but the time off for resting and thinking. A homeless shelter aint the place. When you’re autistic security is important, as is understanding.
For someone on the spectrum like me getting disappointed is a pain. As is having to do certain things you’re just not ready to do.
Today they’re cleaning at the shelter, which means I have to go somewhere else. So I’m now at the library fuming and dreading the experience. If being autistic is supposed to be magickal I’d sooner be mundane.
In other news I’ve learned I don’t qualify for a housing project. Seems I’m too old. Seems these folks want people 60 or younger, and in another 4 days I’m turning 64. I say this is discrimination and I say the Hell with them.
On the other hand I’ve been pre-qualified for a few medical studies. Any come to San Diego I do qualify for I should be able to get some extra money. But don’t let that stop you from donating—button in sidebar.
Now I’ve got documents to produce, then add them to this blog. You stay healthy
