Down at the Base

This entry is part 2 of 3 in the series Existence

Yes, this is an experiment.

What you see above is a representation, a schematic if you will, of our universe.  For that is what our universe is, a ball. A sphere if you prefer, though it would appear to be a sphere some 80 billion light years in diameter the last I heard.

But at the Base

It would appear that we are talking something quite a bit smaller. For I’m thinking that our existence has two minimums. Minimum dimensions that is, and those are distance and duration.

Those dimensions are, making a guess here, one billionth of a meter and one billionth of a second. You get right down to it, nothing can be shorter in our existence. Well not physically. Mathematically is another matter, but that’s in the abstract.

Now this is important for what is coming, for in the next part we’re going to be taking a look at the smallest that can be in our universe.

At Base

This entry is part 1 of 3 in the series Existence

Since the previous version has up and disappeared I’m doing the post again.

What it comes down to is that in our existence existence has two dimensions, existence and duration. Or as you most likely know them, space and time. With space having the appearance of three dimensions; height, width, and depth.

The thing to note about space is that it can neither be created or destroyed, just changed from one state into another. The two states of space are compressed and uncompressed, and at the present moment space in partially compressed and partially uncompressed. There’s more to be said about this, but that can come later.
