“Nanodrops,” a new eye drop developed by Israeli ophthalmologists, has successfully fixed corneas in pig eyes, and could potentially do the same for people.
There’s a problem here. The cornea’s not the only element affecting clear vision, at times it’s the shape of the eyeball. In my case my eyes are elongated, meaning the focus doesn’t reach where it should, so I need glasses that put the light where it needs to go.
This demonstrates a problem so many of us have, that we ignore whatever contradicts what we want to believe. So we leave out important details we’d rather not acknowledge.
