I’ve been convinced yet again that we need to start teaching our kids the importance of such matters as correcting mistakes. For if you want your work taken seriously you need to correct your mistakes.
It comes down to the essential difference between an amateur and a professional. For my purpose an amateur is someone who paid or not really doesn’t care about the quality of his work. To him what you think of how he does a thing doesn’t matter. A professional in contrast cares. It matters to him what you think of what he does or has done and if you can actually get some use out of it.
